Friends

My new job, Security at Blackwater Falls State Park, showed me that a lot of people have get-togethers. I decided to have one for all of my friends.

I didn’t know how to plan the party. Lucky for me, Lois, the lodge Manager, told me that she would be glad to help me. We discussed food, music, time and place. The food would be from the dining room. The music would be a country band. The time would be some weekend from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. We now came to the place. Ms. Reed explained that the rec building and the Milton Harr Conference Center held the most people. The music room in the lodge was the next smaller room. The Davis Room would hold about 20 people.

I was happy with all the arrangements, but I was a little confused with the room that I needed. Ms. Reed said that it wasn’t any problem. She had known me for 35 years. She was sure that she would find a room that would hold all of my friends.

I asked her what room she would suggest. She felt that the phone booth in the hallway would hold all of my friends and the band without any trouble.
