Turner’s Tidbits

The last book I recommended was Big Doc Little Doc. That book is proving to be difficult to obtain. I am submitting for your review a newly released reprint of a great book that covers all parts of the county it is titled “. . .and live  forever”. The book was composed over time by one-on-one interviews with residents who were 80 years old or older. The book has many great stories. Interesting facts about the interviews for the book: 2 were over 100, 2 were near 100, couples were interviewed, parent and child were interviewed, couple were celebrating 50-65 years of marriage, Ponikvar tended 5 gardens. Also featured are methods of Italian cooking by Lambruno and Colabrese. It is a must have for genealogy work as well as just history of the times.
