This is a photo of the first grade class at Bretz School for May 23, 1945. The Bretz School is the white building on the right in the turn above Propst Store. It is owned by Pennington’s. It is on the corner with the Bretz Backroad running along the side. It appears that the children are standing on the Backroad. Children (L to R): Donald Black, Allan Young, Jack Hedrick, Douglas Pennington, Florence Ann Simmons, Dorothy Waybright, Donna Jean Anderson, Agnes Loughry, Betty Cunningham, Carl Johnson.
