This photo is of Carl’s Hotel and Restaurant. Carl E. Nestor was the owner and boasted: air conditioning, TV, Beauty Rest Mattresses, for sleeping comfort and Fine Foods. The name of the business has undergone several changes. It may be of interest to the reader to know that Parsons Country Inn is listed in the 2013 55 Good Things about West Virginia. There are only five restaurants noted within the state and we have one here. The headline reads “Inn serves good seafood far from the coast”.
