Thomas House

This is the last in the series of Rail Yard Buildings from Thomas. This is the houses built along the hill and most likely part of what was called Tony Row. I have been told that all of the buildings were torn down with the exception of part of the maintenance building which is currently used by Sunrise Sanitation and the Tony Row homes. The rail yard occupied the flat area behind the post office. Also, I have been told that there was a dam below the current one used for the rail yard. This is also where the round table was located and used to work on the trains. I was also reminded by a reader that a tornado struck Thomas and in particular the area of Tony Row. A mother and son was killed in this Tornado. Ideas or comments contact Tim Turner 304-478-3389.
