This photo is of Backbone Mountain on US 219 in WV. It looks like a heavy snowfall that year. The sign to the right reads Backbone Mt Elevation 3552 Ft. The card is postmarked Parsons, WVA June 10 1936 11 AM. The writer jokes with the recipient by saying, “We don’t have any snow now”.
