Pinwheel contest winners announced

Tucker County Family Resource Network and Partners in Prevention Team sponsored a pinwheel art contest and Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School during the month of April, which is national Child Abuse Prevention month.

3rd Kylie Snyder
4th Lillian Snider
5th 6th Rosie Ross Joshalynn Henline

Grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade participated in a coloring contest, while grades 4-6 participated in decorating and making their own pinwheels.  A winner was selected in each grade.  The winners are as follows: Kindergarten – Brooklyn Beers, 1st grade – Ani Snider, 2nd grade – Logan Moore, 3rd grade Kylie Snyder, 4th grade – Lillian Snider, 5th grade – Rosie Ross, 6th grade – Joshalynn Henline.  All pinwheels will be displayed during the Fireman’s Carnival on Saturday, May 12th from 5-7 p.m. at Piccolo Paula’s Café.
