Eastern recognizes Tucker County students for spring semester honors

Four Tucker County residents achieved academic honors during the Spring 2022 semester at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College.

Dean’s List recipient, earned for completing nine or more credit hours this spring with at least a 3.5 grade point average, was Mateo Hinkle.

Merit List honorees, based on completing six or more credit hours this spring with at least a 3.25 grade point average, included county residents Nevaeh Mongold, Melinda Pennington, and Paige Shaffer.

Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College, based in Moorefield, serves six rural counties in West Virginia’s Potomac Highlands by offering affordable academic programs, including five online degrees, early enrollment courses for high school students, and a variety of flexible workforce trainings.
