Tucker Valley’s Middle School softball team played just one game last week, a home matchup with the Bulldogs of Tygarts Valley. Tucker got out to a big start in the game, leading 6-1 after the first inning. The Wildcats got two more runs in the second inning to extend the lead to 8-1 and four more runs in the fourth to defeat the Bulldogs 12-2. The Wildcats had several players score in the game, as Mia Lambert, Morgan Simmons, Jacey Helmick, Ary Neville, and Aleena Reed all found home twice, with Makenna Hackney and Kragen Cale both scoring once. The Wildcats will play again on Tuesday, April 21st, as they travel to Bruceton Middle School in Preston County.
