BEARS BOYS’ BASKETBALL PLAY PENDLETON, EAST HARDY, WARM SPRINGS

FRANKLIN – The Davis-Thomas Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to Pendleton County on Monday March 15th.

In the boys’ JV game the Bears fell in the contest 49-33.  Cayden Arnold led the Davis-Thomas JV with 20 points and Tony Cosler added 7 points for the Bears JV in the loss.  Pendleton County also got the win in the varsity game 51-43.  Trevan Bonner led Davis-Thomas with 22 points and Logan Shahan chipped in with 10 points for the Bears in the loss.

 

MOUNT STORM – The Bears Boys’ Basketball JV team traveled to Union or a JV only contest.  Union came away with the win by the final score of 30-15.  John Rivera led Davis-Thomas with 6 points.  Emmet Felton, Cayden Arnold and Tony Cosler added 3 points each for the Bears JV in the loss.

 

THOMAS – The Davis-Thomas Boys’ Basketball teams hosted East Hardy on Friday March 19th.

The Davis-Thomas Boys’ JV team picked up the win over East Hardy 35-16.  Cayden Arnold led the Bears JV with 5 points and John Rivera added 4 points for Davis-Thomas in the victory.  In the varsity contest Davis-Thomas also got the win by the final score of 54-45.  Trevan Bonner paced the Bears in scoring with 24 points and Logan Shahan chipped in with 11 points for Davis-Thomas in the win.

 

WARM SPRINGS – The Davis-Thomas Boys’ teams traveled to Warm Springs for a pair of games on Saturday March 20th.  In the JV contest the Bears took the victory 27-13.  John Rivera led the Bears JV with 9 points and Tony Costlow added 6 points in the Davis-Thomas JV win.  The varsity game did not go in favor of Davis-Thomas as the Bears fell in the contest to Warm Springs 61-41.  Trevan Bonner led Davis-Thomas with 15 points and Cole Carr followed close behind with 14 points in the loss for the Bears.

 

The Davis-Thomas teams with be back in action on Thursday March 25th at home against Tygarts Valley with the Girls’ game starting at 5pm.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
