THOMAS – The Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams opened their season with home games against Harman on Monday December 5th. In the first contest the Lady Bears picked up the win 47-0. Izzy Kitzmiller led Davis-Thomas with 23 points and Peyton Cross added 14 points. Zoie Davis added 10 points for the Lady Bears in the win.
In the Boys’ game Davis-Thomas picked up the win 61-8. Emmet Felton led the Bears with 14 points and Cayden Arnold added 10 points for Davis-Thomas in the win.
AURORA – Davis-Thomas Basketball teams traveled to Aurora on Wednesday December 7th. The first contest of the night featured the Davis-Thomas Girls’. The visiting Lady Bears could not get the win as they dropped the game by the score of 36-15. Izzy Kitzmiller led Davis-Thomas with 7 points and Bella Rivera added 6 points for the Lady Bears in the loss.
In the second game the Davis-Thomas Boys’ picked up the win 39-17. The Bears were led in scoring by Cayden Arnold with 17 points and Emmet Felton added 8 points in the win.
MILL CREEK – The Davis-Thomas Boy’s and Girls’ Basketball teams traveled to Tygarts Valley on Friday December 9th. In the Girls’ game the Lady Bears fell in the contest 33-18. Davis-Thomas was led by Izzy Kitzmiller with 13 points, Zoie Davis chipped in with 2 points in the loss.
The last game of the night went to the Davis-Thomas Boys’ as they defeated the Bulldogs by the final score of 44-28. The Bears were led in scoring by Emmet Felton with 17 points. Gabe Oliver had 14 points and Cayden Arnold added 12 points in the win for Davis-Thomas.
