The Davis-Thomas Middle School Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to Romney Middle on Monday December 11th for 3 games. In the Girls’ contest the Lady Bears fell in the contest 37-8. Skyler Canon and Zobiana Dillsworth led Davis-Thomas with 3 points each. In the Boys’ JV game Davis-Thomas dropped the contest 33-14. Aaron Quattro and Justin Robeson led the Bears with 4 points each. The varsity Boys’ team picked up the road win 36-30. The Bears were led by Harper Russell with 16 points and Blake Anderson had 10 points in the win for Davis-Thomas.
On Wednesday December 13th Davis-Thomas hosted Moorefield Middle for 3 games. The Lady Bears fell in their contest 41-4. Zobiana Dillsworth led Davis-Thomas with 3 points. The Boys JV team also dropped the game against Moorefield 38-14. Justin Robeson and Kaiden Hebb led the Bears with 5 points each in the loss. In the final contest of the night the Boys’ Varsity team picked up the close win by the final score of 55-54. Zaden White led Davis-Thomas in scoring with 21 points and Blake Anderson added 19 points in the Bears win.
Davis-Thomas then traveled to Union for 3 games on Thursday December 14th. The Lady Bears fell to the Lady Tigers 33-16. Nevaeh Nichols led Davis-Thomas with 12 points in the loss. The Boys’ JV team picked up the road victory 40-15. Aaron Quattro and Justin Robeson led the Bears with 10 points each in win for Davis-Thomas. In the Boys’ varsity contest Davis-Thomas got the win 47-23. Blake Anderson led the Bears with 17 points and Isaac Quattro added 8 points in the Davis-Thomas win.
