The Davis Thomas Lady Bears put together a commanding performance on both ends of the floor, rolling past the Kasson Eagles for a 58–28 victory.
Davis Thomas set the tone early, jumping out to a 14–8 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Lady Bears continued to build momentum in the second period, using strong defense and efficient scoring to take a 26–14 advantage into halftime.
Any hopes of a Kasson comeback were quickly erased in the third quarter, as Davis Thomas exploded offensively while locking down defensively. The Lady Bears outscored the Eagles decisively to hold a 42–16 lead at the end of the third.
With the outcome well in hand, Davis Thomas maintained control in the final quarter to secure the 58–28 win.
M. Simmons led all scorers with 22 points, while A. Johnson added 20 points and H. Wilt chipped in 10 points, rounding out a balanced scoring attack for the Lady Bears.
