The Davis Thomas Lady Bears played three games this past week, none of which had a margin of victory closer than 30 points. DT started the week at home against Romney Middle School; the Lady Bears shutout the Lady Pioneers in the first period at 12–0 and extended the lead even further before the break to 29–7. DT never let the game get close in the second half and pulled away to a convincing 51–20 victory. Addy Johnson led all scorers with 18 points, Morgan Simmons followed closely with 17 points, and Shay Wolfe finished with 5 points.

The Lady Bears stayed at home for their next matchup as South Preston Middle made the trip to Thomas. DT again shutout their opponent in the first period, holding a 21–0 lead at the end of one and 31–5 at the break. Davis Thomas held South Preston to just four points in the second half for a lopsided 52–9 victory. On this night, Simmons led all scorers with 15, while Johnson followed with 13 points; Wolfe and Hadley Nestor both pitched in 6 points apiece.

To end the week, the Lady Bears traveled to Pocahontas County to take on Green Bank Middle. DT jumped out early to take a 13–4 lead after one and a 31–14 advantage at the half. The Lady Bears continued to pull away from Green Bank through the second half to take another commanding win, 51–21. Simmons poured in 22 points in the contest, Johnson chipped in 19 points, and Pregley collected 6 points. For their next matchup, Davis Thomas will travel to Harman on Monday, January 19th, to take on the Panthers at 5:45 p.m.
