ONA, WV – Tucker Co. Girls’ Cross Country maybe small in number, but they have started out with big finishes.
They attended the St. Mary’s Medical Center Cross Country Festive held at Cabell Midland High School. This is the site of the State Cross Country Meet for 2014. The top 40 received a medal. Madison Mullenax came home with one of those medals. She was 32nd out of 169 A-AA girls. Her time was 23:54. Madison Reall ran a time of 24:56 and Jenna White finished with a time of 27:53.
Tucker County traveled to Keyser High on September 2nd for a small meet with Tucker, Keyser, Hyndman and Union attending. Madison Mullenax was first and Madison Reall placed second. Their times were 22:40 and 24:16. Jenna White finished 7th with a time of 28:55.
The team will be back in action this Saturday at Davis & Elkins College for the Forest Festival race. Come out and support these girls, start time for the race is set for 9am. For more pictures and info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
