The Lady Mt. Lions fell to the Petersburg Vikings last week with a score of 6-1. Tucker played the field well and received good pitching from senior Ava Shaffer who pitched all 7 innings and only allowed 7 hits.
Tucker, however, could never really get the bats going on offense, mustering just 7 hits of their own: Shaffer 3-4, Hicks 1-4, Evans 1-3, Loucks 1-3, Collar 1-1.
Tucker had several other contests last week that were cancelled due to the weather.
They will return to action on Monday, April 7th at 5:00pm at Southern (MD), Tuesday, April 8th at home against Pendleton County at 4:30pm and on Wednesday April 9th at Keyser at 6:00pm.
