The Lady Wildcats of Tucker Valley Middle School captured their second win of the season over Philippi Middle. The game was tight through one quarter of play with offense being at a premium Tucker held a slight advantage 4-2. Tucker would find its groove in the second quarter and take a 13-5 lead into the halftime break. The Wildcat defense would continue to tighten its grip on Philippi only allowing 2 points in the third quarter and pushing the lead out to 20-7. The Lady Wildcats would really put the game away in the fourth quarter scoring 12 points to Philippi’s one lone point, and Tucker secured the win 32-8. Tucker Valley will travel to Petersburg this Monday, February 10 at 6:00pm.
