The TVEMS boys’ basketball team got a respectable win this last week against Buckhannon Upshur Middle School. Tucker jumped on BU from the start taking a 19-4 lead after the first quarter. Tucker would only allow single digits in the second quarter as well and took a 20-point advantage into the half, 27-7. The Wildcats continued their dominance in the third quarter, but BU would find some offense, scoring 14 points in the third quarter making the score 41-21. Tucker would cruise in the final period and take home the 31-point win over BU. Tucker will travel to Westwood Middle next Wednesday, February 12th with tipoff set for 6:00pm.
