In a challenging day in Summersville for Tucker County’s youth baseball teams, the 9–10-year-olds fell to Tygarts Valley by a score of 15-9. Despite their efforts, the young athletes couldn’t secure a victory, but they look forward to their next game on Friday at 6 PM against Summersville.
Meanwhile, the 11-12-year-olds also experienced a setback, losing 10-5 to Braxton County. The following day, they faced Pocahontas County and were eliminated after a 13-5 defeat. The team showed Tucker pride throughout the tournament, but their journey came to an end with the loss.
