Mt. Lions Golf Finishes Season at Regional

The Tucker County Golfers competed in the Region 2 Championship on Monday September 28th.

The Mt. Lions top finisher in the Regional was Harper Russell with an 18 hole score of 85. Russell finished 7th overall and missed qualifying for the State Tournament by 1 stroke. Tucker County’s Wyatt Betler finished with an 18 hole score of 100 and placed 11th overall. Moorefield won the team Regional title. Andrew Holbrook from Tygarts Valley was low medalist with a score of 73. Ethan Tetus from South Harrison and Holbrook qualified for the State Tournament as individuals. The State Golf Tournament will be held in Wheeling on October 6th and 7th. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
