MOOREFIELD – The Tucker County Golf team traveled to Valley View Golf Course just outside of Moorefield on Monday September 24th to compete in the 18 hole Regional Championship.
Tucker County placed 2nd as a team to qualify for the State Golf Tournament. Moorefield placed first in the match to capture the Regional Championship. Zach Arbaugh from Moorefield was also the low medalist with a score of 78. Teams scores were as follows: Moorefield(257), Tucker County(280), South Harrison(293), Trinity(294), Tygarts Valley(297), Notre Dame(299), Gilmer County(301) and Pendleton County(326). Tucker County Golfers scored as follows: Easton Snyder(88), Myles Paugh(96), Holden Young(96) and Nathan Dearborn(106).
