Suesli Second Team All State

Tucker County Mt. Lions ran last Saturday at Cabell Midland High School with 21 other schools at the 2024 WV Class A State Championship Meet. The Mt. Lions finished seventh as a team with St. Mary’s taking home the State Title. Junior, Lynk Suesli, made Second Team All State, for the Mt. Lions running 17:37.75, coming in 14th overall. Alex Collar finished the season running a 18:22.31 giving him 24th. Nate Ricottilli crossed the line at 19:21.63, in 36th place. Cameron Judy, 39th place, ran a 19:26.35. Freshman, William Gilligan, ran his PR for his first state meet appearance, at 20:18.56. Seniors, Allen Collar and Ryan Scott, finished their high school cross country careers running 20:46.88, and 22:08.52 respectively. 

On the ladies’ side of the race, Lady Mt. Lion, Addi Moats, ran with 17 other schools. This was Moats’ third consecutive appearance at the WV Class A State Cross Country Championship Meet. She set her season record, running a 23:18.88 giving her 21st place overall. This concludes the 2024 Tucker County Cross Country Season.
