Tucker’s baseball team had a busy week of games this past week, picking up their first win of the season against the Harman Panthers. Tucker had the bats going early and often and raked in a season high 27 runs to Harman’s 0.
The Mt. Lions would then face the Rams of Southern Garrett (MD), Tucker would manage to get on the board, scoring one run but would ultimately fall to the Rams 11-1. The Mt. Lions would finish the week against one of the top teams in Single A, meeting the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs. Tucker would struggle to get the bats going and the high-powered Bulldogs would run away with the contest with a final score of 12-0.
Tucker will return to the ball field on Tuesday, April 22nd at home against Moorefield at 6pm, and then travel to East Hardy on Thursday, the 24th at 6pm, they will finish the week back at home against a very good Philip Barbour team on Friday April 25th at 6pm.
