Tucker County Cross Country Competes at Keyser

KEYSER – The Mt. Lions Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams traveled to Keyser for a 3 team meet on Tuesday September 29th.

In the Girls’ race the Lady Mt. Lions runners finished as follows: 6th-Katie Hicks(24:06.71), 10th-Karlee Smith(25:19.17), 13th-Alaira Hudson(26:03.05), 14th-Addison Buckley(26:44.16), 16th-Brianna Gooden(27:07.25), 18th-Kristen Hicks(28:10.74) and 23rd-Olivia Myers(33:58.77).

The Tucker County Boys’ team ran well as the athletes for the Mt. Lions finished as follows: 17th-Clay Poling(21:21.86), 18th-Taylor Long(21:44.69), 20th-Wesley Strawderman(22:00.60), 23rd-Haden Wamsley(22:48.64), 24th-Trent Eure(23:25.90), 25th-Ethan McCrum(23.53.75).

Both Cross Country teams will return to action on Tuesday October 13th for the PVC Championship Meet at Camp Kidd, below Parsons. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
