OAKLAND,MD – The Tucker County Cross Country teams traveled to Broadford Lake near Oakland, MD on Tuesday September 20th to compete in the Broadford Invitational hosted by Southern Garrett.
Natalie Evans was the top finisher for the Girls’ team and she finished in 28th place out of 74 runners with a time of 26.48 and Mikala Betler came in 39th place with a time of 28:39.
Will White topped all Mt. Lion runners with a 13th place finish out of 82 runners with a time of 19:43. Other finishers for the Mt. Lions were as follows: 20th John Anderson(19:52), 24th Jack Melnick(20:18), 27th Chris Chambers(20:30), 28th Jonathan Rhodes(20:43), 38th Josh Kincaid(21:34), 71st Noah Nelson(25:15), 76th Cameron Wamsley(27:14), 79th Nathaniel Radar(27:38). The team finished 4th out of 8 teams.
Both Cross Country teams will return to action on Saturday October 8th in Fairmont at the Times-News Invitational. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
