Tucker County Cross Country Update

KEYSER – The Mt. Lions Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country team traveled to Keyser to compete in the PVC Championship on October 11th.
Will White finished ahead of all Tucker County runners with an 8th place finish out of 57 runners with a time of 18:39. Other finishers for the Mt. Lions were as follows: 14th Jack Melnick(19:11), 22nd John Anderson(19:36), 24th Jonathan Rhodes(19:40), 27th Josh Kincaid(19:51), 28th Chris Chambers(20:06), 39th Noah Nelson(21:25), 42nd Ryan Hart(21:49), 50th Cameron Wamsley(22:55), 56th Nathaniel Radar(24:57). The team finished 4th out of 5 teams.
Natalie Evans was the top finisher for the Girls’ team and she finished in 19th place out of 39 runners with a time of 24.59 and Mikala Betler came in 28th place with a time of 27:01.
Both Cross Country teams will return to action on Thursday October 20th in Bridgeport for the Regional Championship. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
