TUCKER COUNTY GIRLS’ CROSS COUNTRY WINS MEET AT LIBERTY

CLARKSBURG – The Mt. Lions Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country team traveled to Liberty Harrison on Tuesday September 28th for the Mountaineer Invitational.

 

The Lady Mt. Lions took 1st place as a team in the event.  Tucker County Girls’ Results:  3rd-Katie Hivcks(22:31.29), 4th-Erin Chambers(22:54.71), 11th-Hannah Hardy(24:48.69), 15th-Addie Hicks(26:18.80), 19th-Kristen Hicks(27:34.64), 23rd-Brianna Gooden(29:09.26) and 32nd-Tessa Jolly(44:19.21).

 

In the Boys’ race Devin Witemore was the top finisher for Tucker County with a 11th place finish.  Mt. Lions Boys’ Results: 11th-Devin Witemore(21:38.38), 13th-Clay Poling(21:59.14), 15th-Haden Wamsley(22:37.29), 17th-Wesley Strawderman(23:30.25), 19th-Trent Eure(23:58.33), 21st-Ethan McCrum(24:11.46) and 22nd-Alan Boyles(24:33.04).

 

The Tucker County Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams will return to action on October 13th for the PVC Championship.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
