MCHENRY, MD – The Mt. Lion Golf team traveled to Fantasy Valley Golf Course at Wisp Resort in Deep Creek last Tuesday September 13th. The Tucker County team finished third in the event with a team score of 212. Carleigh Bolyard led Tucker County with a score of 48 while Conner Nestor finished with a score of 53 while Myles Paugh had a 54 and Easton Snyder rounded out the Tucker County scoring with a 57. Southern Garrett won the match with a score of 186 followed by Mountain Ridge in second place with a team score of 202. Northern Garrett placed fourth with a score of 244.
CANAAN VALLEY – Tucker County hosted Tygarts Valley, Moorefield, Gilmer County and Union on Wednesday September 14th at Canaan Valley Resort. Easton Snyder led the Mt. Lions with a score of 40. Conner Nestor finished with a score of 46 followed by Myles Paugh with a 47 and Carleigh Bolyard ended the evening with a 48 to round out the scoring for Tucker County. Gilmer County placed first in the contest with a score of 171. Moorefield took second place with a 180 followed by Tucker County close behind in third with a 181. Tygarts Valley got fourth with a score of 218 and Union only had 2 golfers and did not qualify for team scoring.
Tucker County will travel to the Elks Country Club in Elkins tonight September 21st and then travel to Moorefield on Thursday September 22nd both contests start at 4pm.
