SNOWSHOE – The Mt. Lions Golf team opened the season at The Raven at Snowshoe Resort on Thursday August 8th. Tucker County won the match with a team score of 188. Holden Young led the Mt. Lions with a score of 44. Other scores for Tucker County are as follows: Harper Russel(46), Myles Paugh(49), Nathan Dearborn(49) and Wyatt Betler(59). Tygarts Valley took home second place as a team with a score of 199 and Pendleton County scored a 210 as a team to place third.
CANAAN VALLEY – Tucker County hosted their first home match of the season on Thursday August 15th. Northern Garrett, MD and Notre Dame joined Tucker County in the match. The Mt. Lions took the team victory with a team score of 187. Wyatt Betler led the Mt. Lions with a score of 45. Other scores for Tucker County are as follows: Myles Paugh(46), Harper Russel(47), Nathan Dearborn(49) and Holden Young(49). Notre Dame took second with a score of 190 and Northern got third with a score of 194.
