MOOREFIELD – The Mt. Lions golf team traveled to Valley View Golf Course in Moorefield to compete in a six team match on September 9th finished second with 177, Frankfort took third 189, Petersburg was fourth with 197, Tucker County came in fifth with a 206 and Union took sixth placed. Tucker County was led by Wes Knotts with a 45, Seth Evans finished with a 49, Olivia Goff and Carleigh Bolyard each recorded a score of 56.
The Mt. Lions golf team will host a match on Thursday at Canaan Valley Resort starting at 4pm and then on Monday September 22nd. Go to TuckerCountySports.Com for more sports information. Berkley Springs won the match with a score of 176. Moorefield they will host the 18 hole PVC Championship at Canaan Valley at 10:00am.
