Tucker County Golf Update

Tucker County held their final regular season match Thursday at Canaan Valley Resort. Allegheny County won the match with a team score of 179. Followed closely by Petersburg 181, Northern Garrett shot 188, and Tucker shot 193. Allegheny was led by Keegan Ott with a 41, teammate Bryce Trezise added a 42 with Randy Cabbage close behind with a 44. Petersburg was led by low medalist Ryan Colaw, 40 teammate Brian George shot a 45. Northern’s Jeff Bittinger and Brady Benton each shot 42 to lead their team.

 
Tucker County was led by Ian Nichols 46 and Seth Evans 47. Brandon Carr and Eric McCrum each shot 50, Tyler Fike 51 and Zach Parsons and Olivia Goff shot 53. “Ian,Brandon, Tyler and Zach are seniors that have been with us since their freshman year. “Coach Ruckle and I enjoyed watching them develop and improve their game and wish them the best in their future.” said Coach Goughnour.
On Monday September 30th Tucker was scheduled to play their regional match at Valley View in Moorefield. Two teams from each region advance to state playoffs, and the next two lowest scores qualify as individuals for state tournament play.
