Tucker County Softball Drops A Heartbreaker At Tygarts Valley

HUTTONSVILLE – The Lady Mt. Lions held a 7-4 lead in the 4th inning at Tygarts Valley on Tuesday April 1st, but Tygarts Valley rallied back in the final inning to get the victory over Tucker County 9-8.

Bekah Simmons took the loss for the Lady Mt. Lions. Mariah Bowley had 2 hits for Tucker County. Simmons finished with a triple and a single at the plate and Shannon Whitehair added a double and a single in the loss for the Lady Mt. Lions.

Tucker County(0-3) was scheduled to travel to Notre Dame on April 7th and travel to Trinity on April 8th. The Lady Mt. Lions will host Philip-Barbour for a double header on tonight starting at 5pm.
