PETERSBURG – The Lady Mt. Lions Volleyball team traveled to Petersburg on Monday October 31st for a Sectional Playoff Match.
In the match the homestanding Petersburg Lady Vikings won Set 1 by the score of 25-14. In Set 2 the Lady Mt. Lions fought back to take the set in a close score of 26-24 to tie the match at 1-1. Petersburg then responded with a 25-8 win in Set 3. Tucker County could not force another set as the Lady Mt. Lions fell in Set 4 by the score of 25-14. This set win gave Petersburg the match win 3-1. The win by Petersburg ended the season for Tucker County. The Lady Wildcats finished the season with a 7-11 record.
