Tucker Cross Country Competes at Southern and Frankfort

Tucker County Cross Country traveled to Broadford Lake Park, MD to compete in Southern Garrett’s home meet on Tuesday, September 10th . There were 12 schools represented on the line that day. Tucker Girls’ team scored 178, giving them 7th place. Northern Garrett went home with the win at 69. Addi Moats ran 24:39 for 13th. Lela Wright came in at 30:56, Lilly Collar got a 34:28, Adrianna Tuttle at 40:31, and Kaydence Rosier with a time of 43:28.
The Boys’ team scored 90 points giving them 3rd behind Frankfort scoring 86 and the winning team, Keyser, with a score of 63. Lynk Suesli led the Mt. Lions with a time of 18:33 for 7th place. Cameron Judy followed at 9th and Alex Collar 10th, both crossing at 18:44. Nate Ricottilli had a time of 21:47, then Allen Collar coming in at 22:41. Ryan Scott ran a 23:23 and freshman, William Gilligan behind him at 23:24.
Saturday, September 14th the team attended Frankfort’s meet along-side 16 other schools. Tucker Girls and Boys both received 9th place with Elkins winning both divisions. Moats was the leader once again running a 24:28. L. Collar crossed second for the team at 35:37. Wright comes in next with a time of 38:14. Tuttle finished at 43:49 with Rosier completing the 3.1 mile run at 47 flat. Suesli led the way for the boys’ team at 18:52. Alex Collar followed with a 19:09. Judy finished at 19:41and Gilligan was fourth on the team crossing the line at 22:26. Ricottilli had a 22:58, Allen Collar ran a 23:44 with Scott finishing at 24:11.
The Cross Country Team will run Tuesday, September 17th at South Harrison. Then Saturday, September 21st they head to the Grafton Bearcat Invitational at West Taylor Elementary.
