The Tucker County Lady Mt. Lions played host to the Petersburg Lady Vikings last Tuesday, December 17th, at TCHS. Tucker would take the lead after one quarter of play at 16-10. The Lady Mt. Lions would continue to maintain before the half holding a 30-24 lead going into the break. Tucker would get a big 18-point quarter to start the second half and push the score out to 48-35. The Lady Mt. Lions would hold on for the win in the fourth quarter to get the victory with a final score of 59-46 over Petersburg. Tucker received a balanced effort in scoring on the night as Raven Matthews, Maya Gross and Makenna Evans all had 16 points each in the contest. Tucker will host their annual Holiday Tournament on December 27th and 28th, times and opponents are still TBA.
