TUCKER VALLEY BOYS’ BASKETBALL OPEN SEASON WITH WINS

MILL CREEK – The Tucker Valley Boys’ Basketball team opened their season on the road at Tygarts Valley on Monday December 5th.  In the first game of the night the Wildcats JV team fell in a close contest 32-27.  The Tucker Valley JV was led in scoring by Branson Hyre with 10 points and Isaiah Leary added 7 points.  In the Varsity game Tucker Valley got the road win by the final score of 54-48.  Luke Barb led Tucker Valley with 20 points and Ethan Cummings had 17 points in the Wildcats win.

 

HAMBLETON – The Wildcats Boys’ Basketball teams hosted Belington on Thursday December 8th.  The first contest of the night the Tucker Valley JV dropped the game 32-24.  Brayden Bonner led the Tucker Valley JV with 10 points while Branson Hyre and Isaiah Leary added 4 points each.  In the final game of the night the Wildcats varsity got the win over Belington 37-24.  Luke Barb and Ethan Cummings led Tucker Valley with 12 points each, while Isaac Knotts added 9 points.

 

The Tucker Valley Boys’ Basketball teams will return to action at Central Preston tonight, Wednesday December 14th.  For schedules and more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
