Tucker Valley Boys Basketball Teams End Season In Tournaments

The Wildcats varsity team opened Tournament play with an elimination game at Belington on Feb 18th. Tucker Valley got down early and trailed 26-12 after three quarters, but fought back in the fourth. The Wildcats scored 24 points in the final quarter but could not pull the comeback and fell in the contest 39-35 ending their season. Luke Poling led Tucker Valley with 10 points and Jordan Moss added 7 points in the loss.

The Tucker Valley JV team opened Tournament play on Feb 18th at Buckhannon and fell in the contest 52-26. Bryant Noble led the Wildcats with 10 points and Ben Cromer added 8 points.

On Feb 19th the JV team played in the third place game at Buckhannon vs. Belington. Tucker Valley avenged two losses in the regular season with a win over Belington 42-38. Alec Cummings led Tucker Valley with 12 points and Bryant Noble added 10 points. Cameron Wamsley had 8 points for the Wildcats who took home 3rd place in the area with the win.
