TUCKER VALLEY BOYS’ BASKETBALL UPDATE

PARSONS – The Wildcats hosted Elkins Middle for 2 games on Monday February 4th. In the JV contest Elkins got the victory by the score of 36-30. Jeremiah Wratchford led the Tucker Valley JV with 8 points. In the Varsity game Tucker Valley picked up the win by the final score of 56-48. Ashton Lycliter led the Wildcats with 16 points.

PARSONS – Tucker Valley hosted Moorefield on Wednesday February 6th. In the first game of the night the Wildcats JV team picked up the win over Moorefield by the final score of 40-37. Gavin Mullenax led the Tucker Valley JV with 16 points. In the last game of the night the Tucker Valley Varsity team got the win by the final score of 69-30. Ashton Lycliter and Rory Nestor led the Wildcats with 20 points each.

HARMAN – The Wildcats traveled to Harman on Thursday February 7th. Tucker Valley got the victory in the JV contest 48-24. Tucker Valley JV team was led in scoring by Jeremiah Wratchford and Owen Knotts with 14 points each. In the Varsity contest the Wildcats also picked up the victory by the final score of 56-28. Ashton Lycliter led Tucker Valley with 14 points.

PARSONS – Tucker Valley hosted Capon Bridge for an afternoon contest on Saturday February 9th in the last games of the regular season. In the JV contest the Wildcats came away with the victory 53-28. Jeremiah Wratchford led Tucker Valley with 16 points. In the second game of the day the Tucker Valley Varsity team pulled away for a convincing 60-18 win. Dominick Mullenax led the Wildcats in scoring with 16 points.

The Tucker Valley Varsity were scheduled to play in the PVL tournament on Tuesday February 12th against Romney. The winner will play in the PVL Championship game on Thursday February 14th. The Wildcats JV team were scheduled to play in the PVL Tournament on Monday February 11th against Warm Springs with the winner scheduled to play also on Thursday February 14th. All tournament games will be played at East Hardy Middle School.
