MOOREFIELD – The Wildcats JV and Varsity Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to Moorefield on Wednesday December 8th. In the first game the Tucker Valley JV team lost in a close game 24-23. The Tucker Valley JV team was led by Nate Davis with 8 points and Luke Barb added 5 points in the Wildcat JV loss.
The Tucker Valley Boys’ Varsity got the win at Moorefield 47-12. Sam Marks led Tucker Valley with 9 points. Cameron Judy, Luke Barb and Mikey Mitchell added 8 points each in the win for the Wildcats.
ROMNEY – Tucker Valley traveled to Romney Middle on Thursday December 9th for a JV and Varsity contest. In the JV game the Wildcats JV fell to Romney 28-21. Ethan Cummings and Isaac Knotts led the Tucker Valley JV with 6 points each. Tucker Valley picked up a big win in the varsity game by the score of 39-22 over Romney. The Wildcats were led by Mikey Mitchell with 16 points and Cameron Judy added 9 points for Tucker Valley in the road win.
HAMBLETON – The Wildcats finished the busy week with JV and Varsity games against Davis-Thomas at TCHS Gym. In the JV contest the Tucker Valley JV fell to Davis-Thomas in a close game 48-42. Luke Barb led the Wildcats JV with 13 points and Ethan Cummings added 10 points for the Tucker Valley JV in the loss.
The Varsity contest ended with a Wildcats win over Davis-Thomas by the final score of 57-37. Mikey Mitchell and Luke Barb led Tucker Valley in scoring with 13 points each in the Wildcats win.
Tucker Valley will return to action tonight at home against Moorefield at 6pm. The Wildcats will then travel to Pendleton County on Monday December 20th. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
