Tucker Valley Boys Basketball Update

The Tucker Valley Boys’ Basketball team opened the season on Dec 4th at home against Elkins. The JV lost the first contest of the night 29-25. Alec Cummings had 6 points for the Wildcats followed by Cameron Wamsley with 5 points. In the Varsity game Tucker Valley lost to Elkins 41-24. Leading Tucker Valley was Cameron Wamsley with 7 points and Corrick Ambrose added 5 points.

On Dec 5th Tucker Valley hosted Kasson. The Wildcat JV team got the win 36-16. Tucker Valley was led by Shane Humphrey with 14 points followed by Liam Hood with 11 points. The Varsity team, however, lost to the visitors 45-28.

Luke Poling led Tucker Valley with 13 points and Cameron Wamsley added 6 points.

The Wildcats took on Buckhannon at home on Dec 9th. The JV team lost the first game 43-31. Bryant Noble led the Wildcats in the contest with 10 points and Alec Cummings added 7 points. The Varsity also fell in the second game 45-13. Cameron Wamsley led the Wildcats with 6 points and Luke Poling added 3 points.

On Dec 10th Tucker Valley traveled to Davis-Thomas. In the first game the JV picked up the win 60-7. Shane Humphrey led Tucker Valley with 18 points and Bryant Noble finished with 12 points. The Varsity took the loss in the nightcap 53-37. Luke Poling finished with 10 points and Corrick Ambrose added 6 points for Tucker Valley.

The Tucker Valley Boys’ traveled to Belington on Dec 13th and took 2 losses. The JV team dropped their game in a close contest 41-36. Bryant Noble led the Wildcats with 15 points, Alec Cummings and Easton Snyder added 6 points each. The Varsity also took the loss on the night 56-25. Corrick Ambrose led Tucker Valley with 9 points followed by Luke Poling with 5 points.
