TUCKER VALLEY BOYS’ WIN JV AND VARSITY GAMES AT PETERSBURG

PETERSBURG – The Tucker Valley Boys’ Basketball team traveled to Petersburg for a pair of games on Thursday February 3rd.  In the JV game the Wildcats JV team got the win in a close contest 41-39.  Ethan Cummings and Isaac Knotts led the Tucker Valley JV with 11 points each in the victory.  

In the Varsity contest Tucker Valley jumped out to a 15-10 lead after one quarter.  The Wildcats then led 25-16 at halftime.  Tucker Valley then had a 34-21 advantage at the end of three.  The Wildcats controlled the fourth quarter to take home the 55-33 road win to remain undefeated on the season.

Xander Lambert led Tucker Valley with 17 points and Mikey Mitchell added 15 points for the Wildcats in the win.  

 

Tucker Valley will return to action on Thursday February 10th at home against East Hardy.  The Wildcats will then travel to Capon Bridge on Friday February 11th for their last game of the regular season.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
