Tucker Valley drops game on the road at Petersburg 34-0

PETERSBURG – The Wildcats struggled to move the ball on offense against Petersburg last Thursday Oct 17th and the Vikings got the win 34-0.

 
Petersburg Middle dominated the Wildcats to start the game and led at the end of the first quarter 16-0.  Tucker Valley had trouble establishing their offense again in the second quarter and the Vikings scored another touchdown in the quarter to make the halftime score 22-0 Petersburg.

 
The Vikings added a touchdown in the third quarter and the PAT was no good.  Tucker Valley trailed at the end of the third quarter 28-0.  In the fourth quarter Petersburg scored one more touchdown and failed to convert the 2 point conversion to push the score to 34-0 Vikings.  The reserve players finished the rest of the game and the Wildcats fell in the contest by the final score of 34-0.

 
Corrick Ambrose finished 7 of 9 passing for 90 yards for Tucker Valley.  Liam Hood ended the game with 3 pass receptions for the Wildcats for 35 yards receiving.  Tucker Valley (3-5) will host Tygarts Valley tonight for their last game of the season.  Tonight’s game is 8th grade recognition night and kickoff is set for 7pm.  The game will also be broadcast live online at TuckerCountySports.Com pregame will start at 6:45pm.  For more Tucker County Sports info visit TuckerCountySports.Com.
