BAKER – The Tucker Valley Middle Football team opened the season with new Head Coach Carmon DiBacco on the road at East Hardy last Wednesday September 9th.

East Hardy started the game hot on offense as they scored 2 touchdowns in the first quarter to take an early 14-0 lead after one quarter of play.  The Cougars would add another score in the second quarter to push their lead to 20-0 at the halftime intermission.  Tucker Valley then got on the scoreboard in the third quarter when Markie Phillips picked up a blocked punt and returned it for a touchdown.  The Wildcats added another score in the third quarter on a Jared Reall touchdown run.  This made the score 20-14 East Hardy at the end of the third quarter.  East Hardy added another score in the fourth.  Tucker Valley also scored in the fourth on a Markie Phillips touchdown run, but the Wildcats would get no closer as the game ended with the final score of 28-22 East Hardy.

Tucker Valley will host Pendleton County tonight September 16th for a game at 6pm.  For more info and a full schedule visit TuckerCountySports.Com.
