PARSONS – The Wildcats Middle School Football team hosted Pocahontas County for their last game of the season on Thursday October 19th.
Tucker Valley scored first on a 78 yard touchdown by Brayden Bennett and the 2 point conversion was good on pass from Branson Hyre to Quinton Teter. The Wildcats would then add another score on a 56 yard touchdown pass from Hyre to Bennett. The PAT was good by Jon Tuttle to make the score 16-0. Tucker Valley would then strike again on a 9 yard touchdown run by Tuttle and the PAT was good by Isiah Leary. The Wildcats would then add to the lead on a 27 yard touchdown pass from Hyre to Jordan Freeman. Then the home team would score once again before the halftime break on a 6 yard touchdown pass from Hyre to Evan Hexom. The halftime score was 36-0 Tucker Valley.
Pocahontas County then got on the scoreboard to start the third quarter to make the score 33-6. The Wildcats then answered back with a 16 yard touchdown run by Bennett. Tucker Valley would then add a 9 yard touchdown run by Isiah Lipscomb and a 4 yard touchdown run by Jackson Freeman to give the Wildcats the win by the final score of 54-6.
Branson Hyre led Tucker Valley with 7 of 13 passing for 141 yards. Brayden Bennett had 94 yards rushing and 61 yards receiving for the Wildcats in the win.
