TUCKER VALLEY GIRLS’ AND BOYS’ PLAY KASSON AND DAVIS-THOMAS

KASSON – The Tucker Valley Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams traveled to Kasson on Thursday January 5th.  In the first game of the night the Lady Wildcats picked up the win 34-19.  Emma Wilfong led Tucker Valley with 10 points, while Madelyn Helmick and Peyton Hicks added 6 points each.

In the second game the Tucker Valley Boys’ also got the win by the final score of 46-42.  Luke Barb led the Wildcats with 22 points and Ethan Cummings followed close behind with 19 points in the Tucker Valley win.

 

HAMBLETON – The Wildcats Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams faced off against Davis-Thomas at TCHS on Saturday January 7th.  The Girls’ teams took to the court in the first game of the evening.  The Tucker Valley Girls’ got the win over Davis-Thomas 20-10.  The Lady Wildcats was led in scoring by Emma Wilfong with 10 points, while Peyton Hicks and Lela Wright added 4 points each in the win for the Tucker Valley Girls’.

In the Boys’ game Davis-Thomas pulled away for the 46-37 win over Tucker Valley.  The Wildcats were led in scoring by Luke Barb with 13 points and Nate Davis added 10 points for Tucker Valley in the loss.

 

The Tucker Valley Girls’ will return to action on January 19th at home against Belington.  The Tucker Valley Boys’ will return to action on January 18th at Pendleton County.  For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
