HAMBLETON – The Lady Wildcats hosted Romney for 2 games on Wednesday January 26th. In the JV game Tucker Valley fell by the score of 43-6. Lela Wright, Ava Wilfong and Cadence Bush scored 2 points each for the Lady Wildcat JV. In the Varsity game Tucker Valley got the win by the final score of 32-22. Makenna Evans led the Lady Wildcats with 24 points and Maddy Helmick added 5 points for Tucker Valley.
PETERSBURG – Tucker Valley traveled to Petersburg on Thursday January 27th. In the first game the Lady Wildcats JV team fell by the score of 52-4. Lela Wright and Savannah Murphy scored 2 points each for the Tucker Valley JV in the loss. In the last game of the night the Lady Wildcats Varsity team fell in the contest 37-29. Makenna Evans led Tucker Valley with 17 points and Peyton Hicks added 9 points for the Lady Wildcats in the loss.
HAMBLETON – The Lady Wildcats hosted Central Preston for a Varsity only game on Saturday January 29th. Tucker Valley pulled away in the second half for the 36-25 victory. Makenna Evans led the Lady Wildcats with 17 points and Maddy Helmick added 7 points for Tucker Valley in the win.
Tucker Valley will return to action tonight Wednesday February 2nd at home against Tygarts Valley 5:45pm. The Lady Wildcats will then host Union on Friday February 4th at 6pm. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
