TUCKER VALLEY GIRLS’ VARSITY WIN PVL CHAMPIONSHIP

The Lady Wildcats JV team traveled to East Hardy Middle School to face the #1 seed Petersburg Middle JV team on Monday February 5th. Tucker Valley fell in the contest by the score of 42-9. Tucker Valley was led in scoring by Jayden Moore with 6 points. The Lady Wildcats JV team finished the season with a 5-10 record.


The Tucker Valley Girls’ Varsity Basketball team received the #1 seed in the PVL Tournament and traveled to East Hardy Middle School on Tuesday February 6th to play #4 seed Union. Tucker Valley got the victory in close game in overtime by the final score of 45-42. Tucker Valley was led in scoring by Jayden Kuhn with 16 points, while London Hood added 13 points and Brailey Pennington chipped in 10 points in the win.

The Lady Wildcats traveled to East Hardy Middle on Thursday February 8th to face Petersburg Middle for the PVL Championship. Tucker Valley got the win and captured the Championship plaque by the final score of 36-29. Tucker Valley was led in scoring by Jayden Kuhn with 16 points and London Hood added 13 points in the Lady Wildcats win. Tucker Valley finished the season with a record of 15-4.
