Tucker Valley Middle School Softball Update

The Tucker Valley Middle School Softball team played at Doddridge County on April 20th and picked up the win 18-13.


London Hood again led the team at the plate as she went 4 for 4 including a homerun and 4 runs scored. Jacey Davis went 4 for 4 batting and scored 3 runs on the night. Kristen Hicks was 2 for 3 with 4 runs scored, while Paige Shaffer and Shaleigh Darlington scored 2 runs each. Corrinia Lipscomb, Kate Simmons and Paige Shaffer pitched in the contest as Simmons picked up the win for Tucker Valley.

The Lady Wildcats(5-3) traveled to Richie County on April 25th and brought back a hard fought 8-7 win. Kate Simmons pitched a complete game to pick up the win for Tucker Valley. Simmons stuck out 4 and only walked 1 batter. The Lady Wildcats scored 6 runs off 6 hits in the last inning to erase a 5-1 deficit to take the lead 7-5. Tucker Valley held of Richie to get the win 8-7. Corrinia Lipscomb and Tory Paul led the team at bat with Lipscomb collecting 2 hits and 2 runs, while Paul had 3 hits and scored 1 run. Paige Shaffer, Kate Simmons, Gracie Rapp and Kristen Hicks added 1 hit and 1 run scored each for Tucker Valley in the win. For more info visit TuckerCountySports.Com.
