TUCKER VALLEY SOFTBALL WIN AT BARBOUR, FALL AT CENTRAL PRESTON

PHILIPPI – The Lady Wildcats Softball team traveled to Barbour County on Monday April 24th.  Peyton Hicks tossed a no hitter for Tucker Valley to give the visiting Lady Wildcats a 19-3 win at Barbour County.  Peyton Hicks struck out 8 batters in her 4 innings of work.  Peyton Hicks also let Tucker Valley at the plate with 2 hits(1 double).  Adrianna Tuttle, Lilly Boyles, Vivi Crossland, Keisha Arnold and Madi Carr also had 1 hit each for the Lady Wildcats in the win.

 

KINGWOOD – The Tucker Valley Softball team traveled to Central Preston on Saturday April 29th.  Central Preston got 13 runs in the first 2 innings to capture the 13-5 victory over Tucker Valley.  The Lady Wildcats gave up 9 hits and only managed 3 hits in the contest.  Adrianna Tuttle led the Lady Wildcats with a double and Lilly Bolyes added 2 hits in the game for Tucker Valley in the loss.  Peyton Hicks took the loss for Tucker Valley on the mound.

 

Tucker Valley will return to action on Thursday May 4th at Terra Alta at 6pm.  The Lady Wildcats will then travled to West Preston on Friday May 5th at 5:30pm.  For more information go to TuckerCountySports.com.
