Tucker’s cross-country team made the trip to Keyser last week for the third annual Charlie Kuh Invitational. The boys’ team competed with six other schools and a total of 62 runners.

Tucker’s top runner was Landon Wilfong, who clocked a time of 19:08.49, good enough for 12th overall, followed by Draven Bunnell with a 19:40.85 for 19th. Tucker was rounded out with William Gilligan in 31st, Riley Coffman in 57th, and Evan Spencer in 60th.

Four of the five runners would collect a personal best for their run on the day and finish 6th overall as a team.

Tucker’s lone female runner, Juniper Judy, would also have a personal best for the event, running a 23:00.23, which was good enough for 11th place out of 46 runners. Tucker’s next meet will be at home for the annual Tucker County Invitational at Camp Kidd Park in Holly Meadows on Oct. 6.
